Procedure Established for Obtaining Duplicate Diplomas for Individuals Displaced from Artsakh

The Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports has issued an order establishing the procedure for providing duplicate state sample diplomas to graduates of general education, initial vocational (craft) and secondary vocational, and higher educational institutions who have been forcibly displaced from Artsakh.

According to the procedure, duplicates will be issued to forcibly displaced individuals based on an application from the individual or their authorized representative, by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia. The duplicate will be provided via an order from the minister, contingent upon the availability of archival documents either held by the ministry or submitted by the individual. Once a duplicate is issued, previously granted diplomas will be considered invalid.

In cases where there are no archival documents regarding the final assessments of a graduate from a general education institution, a duplicate of the basic education certificate will be issued, noting the subjects studied in the last two years per the educational institution's curriculum and the annual and final assessment (examination) subjects of the graduating class. Similarly, for the secondary education certificate, a duplicate will be provided that reflects the subjects studied during the last three years according to the institutional curriculum and the passing subjects of annual and final assessments.

For graduates of initial vocational (craft), secondary vocational, and higher educational institutions, a diploma supplement can be provided if the necessary grounds are available. Should the relevant educational plans and information regarding completed subjects be available, graduates from the mentioned institutions will receive a diploma supplement indicating the respective subjects.
