Israeli Foreign Minister Admits They Have About 2-3 Weeks Left

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen admitted today that global pressure on Israel is increasing, according to The Times of Israel. The minister stated that Israel has about 2-3 weeks left before significant international pressure rises.

"Politically, we recognize that pressure has begun to increase. It's not very high yet, but it is growing," Cohen said.

Cohen explained that concerns regarding the October 7 attack have subsided, while reports of suffering among the Gaza population have increased.

He noted that in the first weeks of the war, Israel received unprecedented support from countries around the world, which was also expressed through visits of solidarity and support.

However, Cohen insists that the situation concerning the approximately 240 hostages held by Hamas in Gaza is a "key factor" giving Israel legitimacy to continue its military operations. He also stated that "the international community understands that Israel will not cease fighting until the captives are released."
