Everything is Leading to a Favorable Outcome for Russia: Media

The failure of Ukraine's counteroffensive, the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian radical group Hamas, as well as domestic issues in the United States, are facilitating Russia's achievement of its objectives on the battlefield. This is reported by La Dépêche, citing geopolitical and Russia expert Carol Grimo-Potein. The information is conveyed by gazeta.ru.

According to him, several factors indicate that everything is heading towards a 'favorable outcome for Russia.' Over the past month, a number of political figures and media outlets have noted that public attention is now largely focused on the situation surrounding Israel and the Gaza Strip, pushing the Ukrainian conflict to the background. Opinions have been expressed that as a result, Kyiv will likely receive significantly less funding from Western allies.

Last week, the head of the European Union's foreign policy service, Josep Borrell, stated at the European Socialist Party congress in Málaga, Spain, that U.S. assistance to Ukraine is likely to decrease, and therefore EU countries must be politically prepared to compensate for it.
