Death Toll in Gaza Conflict Exceeds 11,000
The number of casualties resulting from the conflict between Israel and the Palestinian Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip has surpassed 11,180, according to Al-Hadas television, citing the enclave's health ministry. Among the deceased are 4,609 children, and 28,000 individuals have been injured.
The war between Israel and the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip has been ongoing since October 7. During the militants' incursion into Israeli territory, 1,200 people lost their lives, and 5,400 were injured.
On October 27, Israel initiated a ground operation in the Gaza Strip. Subsequently, on November 2, the Israel Defense Forces announced the complete blockade of Gaza City.
