Armenian Athletes Reach Finals of Sambo World Championship

In the sport of sambo, Boris Shatveryan, competing in the 79 kg category, has achieved four impressive victories and reached the finals, where he will face Bulgaria's Ivan Harkov. This information was reported by the Armenian Sambo Federation.

David Grigoryan, weighing 98 kg, also reached the finals after three brilliant victories, and will compete against Anton Konovalov.

In combat sambo, Avetik Poghosyan in the 88 kg category has secured three victories on his way to the finals. He will compete for the gold medal against Said Saidov.

In the 71 kg category, Vachik Vardanyan lost narrowly in the semifinals with a score of 0-1 to his Serbian opponent after two victories and earned a bronze medal at the World Championship.
