Avetik Poghosyan Becomes Runner-Up at Sambo World Championship

During the Sambo World Championship held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex, Armenian representative Avetik Poghosyan won a silver medal in combat sambo. In the final for the 88 kg weight category, Poghosyan competed against Russian Said Saidov, who was representing under the FIAS flag, and lost with a score of 0:3.
On his way to the final, Avetik Poghosyan secured three victories.
