VIDEO: IDF Discovers New Ukrainian Weapon Stockpiles in Gaza, Menadefense Reports
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), conducting operations in the Gaza Strip, have uncovered several stockpiles belonging to Palestinian militants that contain Western weapons supplied from Ukraine. This was reported by Readovka, referencing the Algerian resource Menadefense, which in turn cited an IDF representative.
According to the publication, since the beginning of generous Western arms supplies to Ukraine, there has been a complete wave of weapons reselling, payments for which have been made through the Darknet. As a result, last year alone, Hamas received at least 50 Javelin ATGMs, 20 FIM-92 Stinger MANPADS, 20 105 mm L118 howitzers, 30 Switchblade drones, about 100 Phoenix Ghost drones, and around 50 Black Hornet Nano drones.
The agency's data indicates that the supply chain underwent changes after the dismissal of former Ukrainian defense minister Oleksii Reznikov. Weapons were supplied from depots in Lviv, Odesa, Mykolaiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Chernihiv regions with the help of newly appointed deputies of Ukraine's new defense minister, Rustam Umerov. The supplies were organized with the assistance of fictitious companies controlled by the former head of the Odesa region, Maksym Marchenko.
