VIDEO: 'I am confident that I will return to my position' says Bryusov's Vice-Rector
“I have called my dismissal order a masterpiece of law. I have been dismissed under a provision of the Labor Code stating that I supposedly do not meet the requirements for my position,” said Tsolak Akopyan, the Vice-Rector of Bryusov University, during a conversation with reporters regarding his dismissal.
“I have held various positions at this university for about 11 years, during which I received even the university medal, certificates of appreciation, and suddenly it turned out from Davit Gyurjinyan that I do not meet the requirements for my position. Four justifications were provided for why I do not meet them. Two of the justifications relate to criminal cases I have mentioned. However, I have not yet been questioned, I have no status, but the person is already violating my presumption of innocence, has become a judge, and is making decisions. I am confident that these provisions will be shattered in court, and I will be reinstated,” he stated.
