Video: Trial of Vagif Khachatryan Continues in Baku Court

The trial of Vagif Khachatryan, an Artsakh citizen abducted by Azerbaijani soldiers from the Lachin corridor, continues in a Baku court.

It should be noted that the 70-year-old man denies the charges presented by Baku, which relate to alleged involvement in 'genocide.' His family members also insist that he was a regular driver, did not participate in any military operations during that time, held no military position, and had no connection to the events described in the state indictment.

Vagif Khachatryan was abducted and taken to Baku in the summer while attempting to enter Armenia via the Akhalkalaki Azerbaijani checkpoint for an urgent heart surgery. A few hours after his arrest, Baku announced that they had been searching for him for a long time and had even issued an international warrant.
