Similar Phenomenon Observed in Different Parts of Armenia: Gagik Surenyan
On November 5, a similar phenomenon was observed in various regions of the republic. This was reported by Gagik Surenyan, the deputy director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center.
Earlier, it was reported that residents in Georgia witnessed a beautiful natural event known as the aurora borealis. The rare natural phenomenon was caused by a significant solar flare that occurred on November 3.
The aurora, or northern lights, is the result of the interaction of solar winds with the upper layers of the Earth's atmosphere. It is typically observed in polar regions and sometimes at mid-latitudes. This natural phenomenon occurs rarely, primarily between September and March.
