Touristic Visits to Armenia Exceed All Expectations

In October 2023, touristic visits to Armenia surpassed all expectations. This is reported by the Tourism Committee of the Republic of Armenia.

For the first time, Armenia hosted more than 2 million tourists in the current year, with still two months remaining.

“195,000 tourists visited in October 2023, marking the best statistical figures compared to previous years (155,000 in 2022 and 192,000 in 2019). As a result, we have seen 2 million 50 thousand touristic visits from January to October 2023,” the statement noted.

According to the statistics provided by the committee, the largest number of tourists arrived from Russia, followed by Georgia in second place and Iran in third.
