Oil prices are declining at an accelerated pace. This morning, the global price of oil has dropped by up to 1 percent. The information is reported by RIA Novosti.

Notably, the price of WTI crude oil has fallen below $80 per barrel for the first time since August 29, according to trading data. The price of January futures for Brent crude oil has decreased by 1.2 percent, reaching $84.16 per barrel, while the price of December futures for WTI has dropped by 1.21 percent to $79.84.
