Lavrov Warns of Imminent Great War

The collective countries of the West are pushing the Middle East to the brink of a major war. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“Now we can see how the Anglo-Saxons are literally pushing the Middle East to the brink of a great war. This trend is fully manifesting in other regions, including Ukraine. There are many examples, but the outcome is the same—loss or weakening of statehood, as happened with Iraq and Libya, and attempts to do the same with the Syrian Arab Republic,” the minister said.

He noted that the result of such policies by Western countries is “an increase in terrorism and extremism, the shattering of human destinies, destroyed families, and millions of refugees.”
