What Turkey Proposes to the US Regarding the Situation in Gaza
Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will present Ankara's four proposals regarding the resolution of the Palestine-Israel conflict during US Secretary of State Antony Blinken's visit. This has been reported by Turkish media.
It is noted that there are four key topics on Turkey's agenda during the officials’ meeting. These include the immediate acceptance of a ceasefire, preventing the spread of conflict in the region, a framework for guarantor countries, and humanitarian assistance.
Furthermore, it has been reported that while Turkey and some regional countries are making efforts to establish a ceasefire, the US and Western countries continue to support Israel.
It is worth mentioning that the negotiations between US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Turkey’s Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan are scheduled for November 6.
