VIDEO: Footage from Flooded Italy; 16 Victims Identified

The death toll from Storm "Kiaran" in Europe has reached 16, following the storm's impact on Northern Italy on November 3. Authorities have declared a state of emergency in Tuscany, where some areas experienced a month's worth of rain in just three hours.

The storm also affected the Veneto region. Officials have described the situation as "unprecedented" and announced that they will send millions in aid to the affected regions.

Storm "Kiaran" is moving southeast from Northern Italy, bringing severe weather to the southern parts of the country, as well as the Balkan states, including Croatia, Bosnia, Montenegro, and Slovenia. In these areas, strong winds have toppled trees and torn off rooftops.

Recall that in September, the storm caused devastating floods in Libya. It arrived from the Mediterranean Sea, and in the eastern part of the country, one victim was reported along with several missing persons. Hundreds of people were forced to evacuate their homes. Al-Bayda's mayor, Safieddin Kheiban, stated that the situation had spiraled out of control and urged Libyan authorities to intervene urgently.
