VIDEO: Six-Pointed Stars on Israeli Delegation Jackets at the UN
During a Security Council meeting, employees of Israel's permanent delegation to the United Nations attached yellow stars to their jackets. The information has been reported by RIA Novosti.
Permanent Representative Gilad Erdan promised not to remove them until the Security Council condemns Hamas's actions. Such six-pointed stars were imposed by the Nazis on Jews during the Holocaust.
Erdan accused certain countries of not having learned anything in the past 80 years and forgetting why the UN was created. According to him, Israelis will wear yellow stars as long as the UN does not condemn Hamas's atrocities and demands the immediate release of hostages.
