Parakar-Ejmiatsin Road Segment to be Closed for Several Hours on November 4

On November 4, 2023, at 1:00 PM, the Parakar-Ejmiatsin highway segment in the Armavir province will be closed for several hours due to the "Prime Minister's Cup" amateur cycling race, which will simultaneously start for adults and schoolchildren.

The adult race will begin from the area in front of the Parakar community center and will go in the direction opposite to the "Zvartnots" airport intersection, finishing at Komitas Square in Ejmiatsin (10 km). According to the Police of the Republic of Armenia, the schoolchildren's race will start from the territory of the "Zvartnots Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve" and will also conclude at Komitas Square in Ejmiatsin (4 km).

On the same day, from 11:00 AM to 4:30 PM, the Parakar-Ejmiatsin road segment will be unilaterally closed (traffic will be regulated in only one direction on this segment).

Traffic on Mashtots Street in Ejmiatsin will be halted in both directions from the start until the end of the event. Additionally, all entrances to Komitas Square in Ejmiatsin will be closed for vehicles from the start to the end of the event.
