“If Hamas Wins, You Will Be Their Next Target,” Netanyahu
Israel will not agree to a ceasefire, as that would mean a defeat in the fight against the radical Palestinian Hamas movement. This was stated by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in a column for The Wall Street Journal.
“Just as the United States did not agree to a ceasefire after the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor or after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, Israel will not agree to cease military operations against Hamas following the terrorist attack in October. Calls for 'ceasefire' are calls for defeat against Hamas, terrorism, and barbarism,” Netanyahu wrote.
According to Netanyahu, Iran has “created a nexus of terrorism by arming, training, and financing” Hamas in Gaza, the Shiite Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and “other terrorist organizations in and beyond the Middle East.”
“In fighting Hamas and Iranian groups, Israel is fighting against the enemies of civilization,” the politician emphasized.
The head of the Jewish state urged “civilized nations” to support Israel. “If Hamas and the evil Iranian axis win, you will be their next target,” he said.
