Parties Highlight Importance of First Meeting Between Pashinyan and Zelensky; Grigoryan Meets with Ermak

The Armenian Embassy in Ukraine reports: “On October 28, a meeting took place in Malta between the Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia, Armen Grigoryan, and the Chief of Staff of the President of Ukraine, Andrey Ermak. The interlocutors discussed the current state of bilateral relations between Armenia and Ukraine. In this context, the significance of the first meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, which occurred on October 5 in Granada during the summit of the European Political Community, was emphasized.

Andrey Ermak specifically expressed gratitude for the participation of the Prime Minister’s wife, Anna Hakobyan, in the First Ladies and Gentlemen’s Summit held in Kyiv in early September, as well as for providing humanitarian aid to Ukrainian schoolchildren. The Head of the President's Office confirmed the Ukrainian side's commitment to strengthening cooperation with Armenia, particularly in terms of European integration.

Both parties congratulated each other on Armenia and Ukraine’s election to the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency and discussed the cooperation between the two countries within that organization and the energy sector in general.

It is reminded that earlier, a brief conversation took place between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Granada.
