Pashinyan on Scheduled Meeting in Brussels and Aliyev's Participation
The tripartite meeting in Brussels with the President of Azerbaijan will not take place in October, as he has not confirmed his participation in the planned meeting. This was stated by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan during a question-and-answer session with the parliament, in response to a question about whether the meeting scheduled in Brussels has been postponed or canceled.
“There are working details that we will attempt to clarify with our European Union partners in the coming days and understand further actions. At the same time, I would not want to rush and provide an assessment on all of this,” said Pashinyan, noting that we, as before, have expressed our willingness to participate in that meeting.
It should be noted that the EU Special Representative for the Crisis in the South Caucasus and Georgia, Toivo Klaar, has announced that the meeting between Charles Michel, President of the European Council, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev will not occur at the end of October.
