The Federal Air Transport Agency has announced that Makhachkala Airport will reopen on October 31. This information was shared via the agency's Telegram channel.

Due to the stabilization of the situation at Makhachkala Airport, the temporary closure period for receiving flights will continue until October 31, 2023, at 02:59 Moscow time.

At the same time, the Federal Air Transport Agency emphasized that the airport's reopening will only occur after a thorough inspection by law enforcement agencies of the aviation terminal, airport, and adjacent areas.

Previously, it was reported that Makhachkala Airport would be closed for one week for receiving aircraft until November 6, 2023.
