Explosions Targeting Jehovah's Witnesses in India: Casualties Reported

Several explosions occurred during a meeting of the Jehovah's Witnesses in the Indian state of Kerala, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to over fifty others. This has been reported by BBC.

The incident took place near the city of Kochi during an event on October 29, which drew more than 2,000 attendees as part of a three-day gathering.

Shortly after the incident, a man named Dominik Martin confessed on Facebook that he was responsible for the attack. The 48-year-old stated that he is a registered member of the group and was angered by the organization's "anti-national propaganda."

The regional spokesperson for Jehovah's Witnesses reported that the first explosion happened at the end of a prayer in the center of the hall. Moments later, two additional explosions occurred simultaneously on either side of the hall.

The man has been arrested.
