Thousands of People Storm UN Warehouses in Gaza and Steal Flour

The UN agency has reported that thousands of people have stormed UN warehouses and distribution centers in the Gaza Strip, stealing flour and other goods, RIA Novosti reports.

“Thousands of people have invaded UN warehouses and distribution centers, seizing flour and other essential supplies,” the statement said.

Previously, Philippe Lazzarini, the Commissioner-General of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East, referred to the situation in Gaza as hell.

Earlier, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs stated that the organization has managed to collect about $100 million for humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip and the West Bank of the Jordan River.
