"It Seemed That Serbia Would Not Last a Month" – Vucic

Serbia has not imposed sanctions against Russia, which has strengthened its international reputation as a free and independent state, stated Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. This information was reported by rg.ru.

While addressing his compatriots, he emphasized that Serbia is the only country in Europe that has not imposed sanctions against the Russian Federation for two years.

"It seemed impossible. It seemed that Serbia would not last a month, and political opponents who argued that sanctions against Russia should have been imposed long ago criticized Vucic for not being 'decisive and clear enough.' However, I was only defending the country and conducting responsible and serious politics," he stated.

According to him, this has strengthened Serbia's reputation as a free and independent country that conducts its own political agenda.
