Russian Army Executes Soldiers Who Refuse Orders: John Kirby
John Kirby, a representative of the U.S. National Security Council, has stated that Russian soldiers are executing their comrades who refuse to follow orders. His remarks were made public by the White House press service. The information was reported by Meduza.
“We have information that Russian military personnel are indeed killing those soldiers who refuse to comply with orders. We also have information that Russian commanders are threatening to kill entire units if they attempt to retreat from Ukrainian artillery fire,” Kirby stated, labeling such actions as “barbarism.”
“I believe this is a symptom of how poorly Russian military leaders understand what they are doing and how poorly they are doing it from a military standpoint,” Kirby added.
According to Kirby, the Russians drafted into the army during mobilization are inadequately trained, the equipment is poorly supplied, and they are not prepared for combat operations.
“It’s no surprise that the combat morale of Russian forces is low,” concluded the U.S. National Security Council representative. As of now, there has been no comment from the Russian Ministry of Defense or the Kremlin regarding Kirby's statements.
