Positive Changes in Relations with Turkey Expected Soon: Alen Simonyan

The National Security Service will take care of ensuring the security of international communications passing through Armenia. This was stated by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, during a conversation with journalists, adding that a structure has already been established to deal with communications.

Speaking about the "Peace Corridor" project, Simonyan mentioned that the topic of the "corridor" is no longer relevant, and discussions about peace have intensified not only from Armenia but also from the leadership of neighboring countries.

"The Republic of Armenia cannot isolate itself from economic and trade relations in the region. We must do everything to open all routes with Azerbaijan and Turkey, and I promise you that in this case, Armenia's economy, if we currently have growth of 11, 12, or 14 percent, will see double or triple growth, and our citizens will witness it. Not to mention that we will finally have peace and a peaceful country," said the Chairman of the National Assembly.

According to Simonyan, positive shifts in relations with Turkey are also expected in the near future.
