Continuation of Conflict in Gaza Could Ignite Explosion in Region, Says Jordan's King

The continuation of armed conflict between Israel and the Palestinian militant group Hamas could trigger an explosion across the entire Middle East region. This opinion was expressed by Jordan's King Abdullah II during talks with French President Emmanuel Macron during his visit to Amman, as reported by TASS.

“The continuation of the war in the Gaza Strip could lead to an explosion of the situation throughout the Middle East region. It is extremely necessary to halt this conflict, and the world must urgently begin to move in that direction,” he stated.

Prior to arriving in Jordan, the French leader met on October 24 with Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.
