What Putin and Erdoğan Discussed

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the situation in the Middle East over the phone. The information was reported by RIA Novosti, citing the Turkish presidential office.

"The leaders of the two countries discussed the escalation of the Israel-Palestine conflict as well as the humanitarian crisis that has arisen in the region," the statement said.

Erdoğan assured Putin that Ankara will make every effort to ease the situation.

It is noted that on the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip.
