Citizen's Suicide Attempt Prevented from Davtashen Bridge

On October 23, at 19:32, the National Crisis Management Center received a call reporting that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide by jumping from the Davtashen Bridge in Yerevan. This information was provided by the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs’ Rescue Service.

Responding to the scene was a combat unit from the Yerevan City Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, along with a duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Division.

With the joint efforts of the rescuers and the police, the suicide attempt by the citizen (H. H., born in 1996) was prevented. The duty psychologist from the Psychological Support Division provided psychological support to the individual.
