Whoever reviews the footage will say that 99 percent of the participants in yesterday's rally are supporters of Araik Harutyunyan: MP

Samvel Babayan has no connection to yesterday's rally, and none of the attendees have any ties to us. We closely examined the footage, and most of the people gathered there were supporters of the "Free Homeland" party; no one can deny this. Anyone who looks at the footage will say that 99 percent are supporters of Araik Harutyunyan. This was stated today by David Sargsyan, an MP from the Artsakh National Assembly's "United Homeland" faction, in an interview with MediaHub.

“I recognize a few people; they have been deceived a hundred times with promises of homes, yet nothing has been done. They were members of the same team, but now they are dissatisfied because they’ve been abandoned,” he said.

Sargsyan mentioned during the interview that what is happening is not commendable, but people are expressing a fair demand. “One person told Shahramitan yesterday, 'You didn’t come out, you didn’t offer condolences.' He is right, but we understand that it was a spontaneous gathering; people didn’t know what they wanted—one was saying one thing, another something different. No one is asking why the gas stations didn’t operate, how this happened, or why 500 people took the hit without discussing these issues,” he added.

Discussing the appointment of Samvel Shahramitan and the signing of the document on the dissolution of the Republic of Artsakh, the MP stated: "Shahramitan must be held accountable, but not alone; those who took responsibility must also answer. Shahramitan came to office to save the situation, but is this how we save the situation? For them, resolving the issue meant surrendering Karabakh.”

“The Armenian authorities are also waiting to see what our people will do. If our people can prove that our leadership is guilty of what has happened, the Armenian authorities will stand by our people,” the MP concluded in his interview.
