We Are Launching a New Financial Assistance Program for Priority Expenses: Nikol Pashinyan
We are starting a new financial assistance program to cover priority expenses for our sisters and brothers forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on his Facebook page.
“During the months of November and December, in addition to the funds allocated for housing and utility expenses, each individual will receive 50,000 drams from the state budget. Exceptions will be made for individuals and their family members who have bank account balances above a certain threshold, are living in state-provided accommodations, or are under state care,” Pashinyan wrote.
“Today, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan will present detailed information during the Humanitarian Center broadcast at 16:00. In the coming days, we will begin discussions on long-term housing assistance for our sisters and brothers forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, which will be maximally coordinated with similar programs for Armenian citizens.”
“I hope that our capable sisters and brothers displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh will find work in Armenia within the next two months. The government will certainly support them in this matter with the available resources,” the Prime Minister added.
