VIDEO: Rally Supporting Palestine Held in Central Rome

A rally in support of Palestine was held in the central part of Italy's capital, Rome. Approximately a thousand people participated in the event, as reported by police on site to RIA Novosti.

The protesters brought flags of Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon to Piazza Vittorio, as well as a banner demanding an end to Israel's military actions against the Gaza Strip.

Before the start of the action, a group of young people drew the attention of journalists and other participants as they chanted slogans supporting Palestine near the trash cans.
