Palestinian President Refuses Phone Call with Biden
The President of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, has declined to have a phone conversation with U.S. President Joe Biden during the latter's visit to Israel on Wednesday. This was reported by Kan public television, citing a source.
The source, speaking anonymously from Ramallah, stated that officials from Biden's administration attempted to organize a call between the leaders, but Abbas rejected the request.
It is worth noting that Abbas also refused to attend a meeting with Biden and Arab leaders that was scheduled for earlier this week in Jordan.
