Israel plans to create a buffer zone in the Gaza Strip, as reported by the Financial Times, citing one of the Israeli ministers. The minister stated that the width of such a zone would be determined by several factors, including the distance of 'Israeli military personnel or settlements' from the area.

'In the Gaza Strip, we will always have the advantage. And they will not be able to enter. It will be a fire zone. And whoever you are, you will never be able to approach the Israeli border,' said Avi Dichter.
