Yerevan State University Student Passes Away

Today, the Faculty of Journalism at Yerevan State University announced the passing of third-year student Elen Grigoryan. It is with great sorrow that we report that on October 17, Elen Gevorgi Grigoryan, a third-year student at the Faculty of Journalism, has departed this life. The faculty and student body extend their condolences to Elen's family and loved ones.

The funeral service will be held today at 6:00 PM at the Holy Mary Mother of God Church in the Malatia-Sebastia community.

In an interview with Auroranews, Anahit Menemshyan, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Journalism, stated that the cause of the student’s death is still unknown. “The incident occurred after leaving one of the television companies where students had gone for a practical class. That day, the student felt very well, and then suddenly became unwell. The ambulance arrived promptly, but they were unable to save her life,” said Anahit Menemshyan.
