VIDEO: Airstrikes on Gaza Strip Continue During Search and Rescue Operations

The Israeli army has urged Gaza residents to evacuate to the al-Mawasi humanitarian area (on the southern shore of the strip), where assistance will be provided if necessary.

Footage has emerged showing Israel conducting airstrikes on the Gaza Strip while rescuers search for women and children among the rubble of a destroyed hospital. The clips were published by The Guardian.

It is reported by Al Arabiya news channel, citing sources, that the death toll from the attack on the hospital in Gaza has surpassed 800.

Strikes were launched on the Baptist hospital in Gaza on the evening of October 17. The Israeli army stated that it is investigating the incident and associates it with an unsuccessful rocket launch by the “Islamic Jihad.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed that Israeli troops did not strike the hospital and that the responsibility lies with the “barbaric terrorists of the Gaza Strip.” Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has labeled the attack as an “Israeli military crime” and declared a three-day mourning period.
