VIDEO: They Take Care of Me, They Give Me Medicine; HAMAS Releases Footage of Captured Israeli Woman for the First Time

The Al-Qassam Brigades (the military wing of HAMAS) have released footage of an Israeli hostage who was captured during a musical event on October 7.

In the video, the young woman identifies herself as Mia Shm, 21 years old, stating that she suffered a hand injury and underwent surgery in Gaza.

"They take care of me, they give me medicine, everything is fine. I just ask to be taken home to my parents, brothers, and sisters as soon as possible. Please remove me from here as quickly as possible. I beg you," the hostage stated.

This is the first video of a hostage officially released by the group. The location and exact timing of the recording remain unknown. The girl's parents confirmed to Haaretz that it is indeed her in the footage.
