Mass Protests Erupt in Turkey, Iran, and Several Arab Countries Following Airstrike on Gaza Hospital
Mass protests have erupted in Arab countries and cities following the attack on a hospital in Gaza.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas has declared a three-day mourning period for those killed in the assault on the Gaza hospital.
HAMAS has called on the Islamic world to take to the streets in all countries in front of Israeli embassies.
In turn, a spokesperson for the IDF stated that 'Islamic Jihad' is responsible for the firing of the rocket that struck the hospital.
In the Jordanian capital Amman, protesters set fire to the building of the Israeli diplomatic mission and attempted to enter, while in Palestinian Jenin, the Israeli army opened fire on demonstrators.
People have also taken to the streets in various cities across Egypt, Tunisia, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran.
Protests are also taking place in front of Israeli consulates in Ankara and Istanbul.
