Yerevan to Establish Community Police
As part of the ongoing reforms of the patrol police, the municipal authorities in Yerevan are considering the establishment of a community police force. This was mentioned today, October 16, during a routine operational meeting at the Yerevan City Hall.
The process has been ordered to commence, and the community is also discussing the issue with the U.S. Embassy in Armenia to develop the conceptual framework.
