Rescue Teams Recover the Body of a Moped Driver from the Ravine

On October 16, at 08:47 AM, the National Crisis Management Center received information that a citizen's body had been spotted in the Garni gorge and that rescue assistance was needed. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs Emergency Situations Department.

A rescue team from the Special Rescue Operations Center of the Emergency Situations Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs was dispatched to the scene.

It was determined that an accident had occurred near the Garni pagan temple, where a moped (driver: E.H., born in 1959) had veered off the roadway and rolled into the ravine (approximately 10 meters).

The rescuers recovered the body of E.H. from the gorge and brought it to the vehicle for transport. The moped was also retrieved from the ravine by the rescue teams.
