Armenian Government Allocates €50,000 to Slovenia

The Armenian government has allocated €50,000 to Slovenia to combat the aftermath of flooding. This was announced by the spokesperson for the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ani Badalyan.

"The Armenian government has approved the allocation of €50,000 for combating the consequences of the largest natural disaster in Slovenia's recent history, which is the flooding," Badalyan stated.

According to her, the decision followed the visit of Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan to the Bled Forum and his meetings with Slovenian counterpart Tanja Fajon, during which Armenia expressed its readiness to assist Slovenia.

Earlier, Slovenian Prime Minister Robert Golob estimated the damage from the flooding at €9.9 billion.
