UN Peacekeepers' Headquarters in Lebanon Shelled

The headquarters of the UN peacekeeping mission in Lebanon has come under rocket fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties reported. This information has been confirmed by the organization's website.

“The rocket struck our headquarters in Nakoura, and we are working to establish its point of origin. At the time, our peacekeepers were not in shelters. Fortunately, no one was harmed,” UNIFIL stated.

Hamas announced that it had fired 20 rockets toward Israel in the vicinity. The Israeli Defense Forces reported that nine rockets crossed into Israeli territory, five were intercepted, and four landed in open areas.
