VIDEO: Feast Ends in Murder; 39-Year-Old Man Arrested

A feast among men at one of the houses in the city of Hrazdan, Kotayk Province, Armenia, has ended in murder. This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia.

On October 11, at 11:44 AM, the operational management center of the police of Kotayk Province received a report from the Hrazdan medical center stating that they had gone to one of the houses in the Vanatur district of Hrazdan, where the body of a 64-year-old homeowner was found.

Police later determined that around 9:00 PM on October 10, three men aged 41, 55, and 39 had dined and consumed alcohol with the homeowner, after which an argument broke out between the homeowner and the 39-year-old man. The 39-year-old man struck the 64-year-old homeowner with his hands and feet, and then hit him in the head with a blunt object, leading to the homeowner's death.

As a result of the measures taken, the 39-year-old man was located, arrested, and taken to the Hrazdan police department. The 39-year-old resident of Hrazdan provided a confession. A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of murder, and an investigation is underway.
