Ukraine Asks Partners to Provide Air Defense Systems 'on Loan' for Winter

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that Kyiv has requested several countries to provide air defense systems for at least the winter period. He made this announcement during a press briefing following a meeting with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in Odesa, as reported by TASS.

Zelensky highlighted that Ukrainian authorities are actively working to increase the number of air defense systems, specifically to protect energy infrastructure and the grain export corridor. He emphasized that Kyiv has a 'strong program' for what is necessary for Ukraine, with this plan being well elaborated.

'Our partners have this - all European partners, partners from the USA, Asia, and so on. This is a complex issue, and we are increasing the systems every month. I cannot tell you where these systems will be deployed, nor can I disclose the quantity,' Zelensky added.
