Peskov Responds to Question About Potential Upcoming Conversation Between Putin and Israeli Prime Minister
Russian President Vladimir Putin is not currently planning a conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This was stated by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov during a Q&A session with journalists, as reported by TASS.
Earlier, Putin announced that Moscow is ready to act as a mediator in resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. On October 10, during negotiations with Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed al-Sudani, Putin highlighted the necessity of addressing the creation of a sovereign Palestinian state.
Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov noted that Russia is in contact with both sides of the conflict—Israel and Palestine.
