Erdogan's Statement: 'This Does Not Align with Humanitarian Standards'
Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has described Israel's call for residents of Gaza to evacuate the northern region as unacceptable and inhumane. This was reported by Reuters.
"Forcing 2.5 million residents of Gaza to migrate to an extremely confined space is a blatant violation of international law, and this does not align with humanitarian standards," said the Turkish leader.
Erdogan reminded that for several days, people in Gaza have been subjected to sporadic bombings and have been deprived of electricity, water, and food.
The Turkish president also expressed hope that Tel Aviv would rectify this situation and cease its actions against the people in Gaza.
