Israel Declares Conditions for Restoring Electricity and Water Supply in Gaza

There will be no electricity or water in the Gaza Strip as long as the kidnapped Israelis do not return home. This was announced by Israel's Minister of Energy, Israel Katz.

“No humanitarian aid will be delivered to Gaza, no electrical disconnects will be reconnected, no water pumps will be opened, and no fuel trucks will enter, until the kidnapped Israelis return home,” Katz wrote on his X (formerly Twitter) page.

Earlier, Israeli authorities announced a complete blockade of the Gaza Strip in response to the attacks on Israeli territory by Palestinian militants from Hamas on October 7.
