Discussion on Future of Russian Peacekeepers with Azerbaijan

The future of Russian peacekeepers in Artsakh will be discussed with Azerbaijan. According to TASS, this was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of Russia.

At the same time, he noted that discussions with Armenia will continue. "The issue of Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh has not been discussed with Yerevan; it is de facto and de jure the territory of Azerbaijan," he added.

It is noteworthy that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan later stated that Russia is in discussions with Azerbaijan regarding the withdrawal of peacekeepers from Nagorno-Karabakh, but discussions are also taking place with Armenia. When asked if, should Russian peacekeepers leave Artsakh, it is possible for them to come to Armenia and remain in the country, Pashinyan replied that there is no logic in that.
