Representatives of Hamas accused the U.S. of applying double standards in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and called on the White House to reconsider its stance.

The statement emphasized that Hamas's actions were launched to protect the Palestinian people and prisoners held in Israeli jails, defend Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque, and put an end to Israel's aggression, blockade, and occupation.

It is worth noting that just hours ago, Biden delivered a special speech expressing support for Israel, stating that Hamas militants do not defend Palestinians but use them as human shields.
