UK, US, Germany, Italy, and France Issue Joint Statement on Israel

The leaders of the US, France, Germany, Italy, and the UK have issued a joint statement regarding the escalation in Israel, condemning the actions of the Hamas movement. This information comes from a release by the White House.

“Today, we—French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, and US President Joe Biden—express our unwavering and united support for Israel and our unequivocal condemnation of Hamas and its horrific acts of terrorism,” the statement reads.

It is worth noting that on the morning of October 7, Israel was subjected to an unprecedented rocket attack from the Gaza Strip. According to the Israel Defense Forces’ press service, extremists launched more than 3,000 rockets. Additionally, dozens of terrorists infiltrated areas near the southern border of Israel.
